As the Korean government confessed of their inability, families of the hostages held by Taliban in Afghanistan visited the U.S. embassy in Korea and asked to make efforts to rescue them on Tuesday.
They met deputy ambassador and heard that the U.S. would do its best.
Cha Sung-min, chairman of hostages' families, said that the visiting is the last thing they could do so far.
"We are begging the U.S. to be more sincere on the issue over the political concern." Lee Chae-bok, the hostage Je Chang-hee's mother appealed.
The Families especially demanded a negotiation-based solution without military options.
"We are deeply worrying that using of force would plunge hostages into the worst danger" the families stated.
Korean people also was with the families.
Approximately 200 people held a meeting by U.S. embassy at the Wednesday evening and criticized the U.S. not changing their rule excluding negotiation with the Taliban.
Unfortunately, they met the news saying that the Taliban would kill 4 more hostages as the Afghanistan military began to attack them while they kept the assembly.
Kim Jong-il, the general director of the Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea, put the blame on the duplicity of U.S.
"U.S. released five iraqi resister to save one American repoter. What is different between American and Korean", Kim raised his voice.
Korean NGOs and civils plan to have the rallies every evening until the hostages release.
