South Korean civic groups provided aid packages to North Korea suffering from recent devastating flood.
The South Korean committee of the Solidarity for Practice of the South-North Joint Declaration, an inter-Korean group, held an event to send relief aids matching 70 million won in Imjinkak train station last Friday.
The South Korean committee provided 70 million won worth of relief supplies, 450 bags of rice and 300 tons of cement to North Korea to help repair damage from flooding.
A member of the committee said "We thank everyone supporting these donations. We'll do our best for peace and unification in the Korean Peninsula."
